Listen

RPMChallenge.com 2007 (2007)

A collection of a few songs.

Songs for Various Lichen (2008)

A collection of songs that will very likely be only listened to by various lichen, aside from the RPM listening audience, of course.

RPM Challenge 2009 (2009)

A slight variation from the 2008 album entry, as the music on this album is more geared towards capturing the raw feel of guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals in an unrehearsed and unplanned sense.

RPM Challenge 2010 (2010)

I started this album at a little past midnight on February 1st and finished it around the 23rd. More time could have been spent tweaking and refining some of the songs, but I was ready to just be done, and I will spend the rest of the year doing that, and allowing it to inspire me for other new tunes as well. This is my fourth year doing the challenge, but the first time I actually kept songs that I felt should be thrown out and put them on the final cut of the CD that I sent.

Season Change (2011)

The music of Cyclops Cow is best characterized as an eclectic mesh of many things.

Lost in the Shuffle (2012)

Another attempt at madness and unrealistic opportunities.

Arrangements for the Spine (2014)

The first song that was recorded (which is 40 minutes long) was originally intended to be the only song for this year's album. However, inspiration was present, and a few other songs came about as well. [nl] It was recently discovered that all of the tracks from last year's (2013) album are not available. This is indeed a sad, sad day...

Under The Sun (2015)

This album is another mix of genres. However, it sort of came out sounding like a psychedelic album, so we guess it's "the psychedelic album from Cyclops Cow". As usual, this month was a rush job on the songs and so the disclaimer is that the songs sound unrefined, unfinished, not as good as they could be, etc. Please bear with us while we adjust the quality. Of course, the re-recorded and refined tunes will not appear on this jukebox, but at some other location online, where the band releases tunes. Also, we should mention before we forget, that the music of Cyclops Cow is available on iTunes. Check it out!

Introspection (2016)

The tunes on this album are a bit more electronic-oriented, but then not so much. Yet again, another set of tunes to make an unclassifiable genre, which is par for the course for Cyclops Cow. Some of the tunes are geared towards inner thoughts and spirituality, while others are just for having fun. Check out, "Funky Coffee Bean", for example. What fun it is to write lyrics about a funky little coffee bean. Also, check out "Tender Waves of Gravity", a tune in homage to the recent scientific discovery of gravity waves in the universe. Speaking of scientific-oriented tunes, the song "Ununoctium" is a tribute to an element of the same name, who's atomic number is 118, which also happens to be the number of beats in the tune. It is a bit of an ethereal tune, with ticking possibly attributed to a Geiger counter. All in all, the influences for this album are too numerous to mention. Have a peaceful day...

Air (2017)

This is a slight change from previous albums. First off, the songs are much shorter so that listeners will not get bored. Also, a bit of experimenting with various other wind instruments throughout. And also experiments with mixing of tones... Enjoy!
